The Coe is an unusual place for art exhibitions. And yet, since the opening of the dormitory, exhibitions of works by renowned contemporary artists have taken place time and time again. From the very beginning, the COE was spatially designed and built to make this possible. The residents of the COE thus have the unique opportunity - unlike in a gallery or museum - to live with the works of the artists and to let the pictures take effect on them in everyday life and at different times of day and night. At the same time, the encounter with contemporary art offers opportunities to perceive other interpretations of reality and thus invites to an exciting change of perspective. This can be deepened in a conversation with the artist at the vernissage or during a guided tour through the exhibition, which is offered by qualified art educators for each exhibition. The exhibitions are open to all art lovers during the opening hours and at the vernissage.
